Ultrasonic Welding
InTec's ultrasonic welding process uses an acoustic tool to transfer vibration energy through the plastic parts and into the weld area. Once the plastic reaches a molten state, pressure is applied and the molten plastic components become fused together.
The ultrasonic welding process eliminates the need for:
- hardware
- adhesives
This entire process only requires a fraction of a second. The process is faster and more precise than conventional welding, does not leave a seam and creates a virtually unbreakable bond.
